Bay of Plenty Hockey Association - Coaching Opportunities - POSITIONS 2024 FILLED

Bay of Plenty Hockey is currently seeking dedicated coaches and selectores to join our U16 Rep Programs, Development Programs and Hockey 5s Program.

Rep, Development and Hockey 5s Program Coaches:

We are looking for committed and responsible coaches who can serve as positive role models for our sport and athletes. Ideal candidates should project a positive image of coaching and possess:

- Experience in a competitive coaching environment
- A keen eye for individual player development
- A solid understanding of the modern game of hockey

Responsibilities for Rep Coaches:

**Development & Hockey 5s Trainings**: Attend, facilitate, and prepare Development trainings for the U16 Program.
**Team/Squad Trainings**: Attend, facilitate, and prepare a minimum of 6 team/squad trainings leading up to the tournament.
**Tournaments/Festivals**: Attend, prepare, and lead teams during the U16 festival.

Managerial Opportunities: REGISTER NOW!!

We are also looking for dedicated managers to support our teams. As a manager, you will play a crucial role in the success of our programs by ensuring smooth operations and logistics. Ideal candidates should be organised, communicative, and passionate about supporting our athletes and coaches.

Responsibilities for Managers:

With the support of BOP Hockey Assoc - Coach Force Officer

**Administrative Support**: Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, communications, and record-keeping.

**Logistics Coordination**: Manage logistics for practices, games, and tournaments, including travel arrangements and equipment needs.

**Team Support**: Provide ongoing support to coaches and players, helping to create a positive and productive environment.

Note this position will be open and advertised up until the 8th September, 2024 to allow for the selection of the teams to be finalised as applicants may want to wait to see where their child is placed before applying. Once we have filled positions they will close this maybe before the date stated.
